The woman who accused the rapper Nelly of raping her has accused his legal team of spreading misinformation after they claimed “no money changed hands” during their out of court settlement.

His accuser Monique Greene claimed he assaulted her on a tour bus and has now chosen not to pursue justice any further to protect herself from the wave of bad press and danger she has faced since coming forward with her story.
Today, Nelly’s legal camp revealed that they settled the case out of court and insinuated that Ms. Greene’s silence was not bought by the entertainer.
She says that this is a lie.
Nelly’s lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, tells The Blast, “The lawsuit with Nelly and accuser has been dropped. Both parties have mutually agreed to drop the lawsuit. No settlement or money changed hands.”
However, Greene’s attorney, Karen Koehler, is refuting Nelly’s statement and says the information about no money changing hands is “false.”
A source close to Greene tells The Blast that she “just wanted this to be done with.” the ordeal and “wants to get on with her life.”
Greene decided to step away from the legal battle after revealing she was overwhelmed by the harassment she faced after telling her story.
