She’s feeding folk with new music and visuals with such frequency, all the while operating on a less is more M-O. So much so that we’re left to anticipate her next move rather than predict it.

Beyoncé’s music is VERY hit or miss yet people go crazy for it simply because of the person it’s coming from. And those people listed in the original post have put out fire singles only for them to be ignored. I don’t blame people who like migos, future, etc for the decline of female and male r&b but I do blame radio programmers who won’t even give legit R&b a chance anymore unless it’s got a trap sound or trap undertones.

She’s really good at what she does and should be big with Beyonce & Rihanna tbh. She’s a solid performer too. She has had some blame on that over the years for doing wack music but now she is picking up where she left off….. 2006 vibes!!
Well most her fans now are reaching 30 now. So lyrics like, “imma hit you with a dose” or “yummy in my tummy” is not going to work. I love Ciara on stage, but these songs are too high school.
Yet Riri can sing the word “work” six times before she gets to the next word and Beyoncé puts out sh*t like Apeshi+.
People in their early 30s late 20s are supporting Migos and other dumb sh*+ so the hate for “yummy in your tummy” and “hit you with a dose” are hypocritical.
Put simply it’s all on radio programmers if they started blasting Dose or Level up on rotation none stop people would be claiming they love the song and it’s so fresh. People are sheep and radio is still the number one way people consume music.
Bam the reason Ciara’s songs sound high school is not just the lyrics but the production. Dose and Level Up sound like songs from 10 to 12 years ago. She should have made those songs back then. Now what she needs is another ‘Promise’, ‘Ride’, and ‘Freak Me’. Those kind of songs would put her back on charts and on the radio. Ella Mai gets radio play. If Ciara wants radio play she needs radio friendly songs ie songs that work well mixing in with other songs on radio playlists. Dope is a great song but it is too urban for pop radio and too dated for black radio so that’s that. Same goes for Level Up, although the video for that song brought on viewers it was only going to sizzle a little and then vanish which is what happened. Freak Me was her best bet but she did not promote it.
She barely has fans. The C-Squad is nearing extinction. People like the socialite Ciara, not the artist because she has no true artistry.

Now, here she is trying to go back to Atlanta and rally up all of the black kids with a HBCU marching band and the same crew neck top and blonde kinky wig?
