‘Fefe’ rapper Tekashi69 has just been sentenced to four years probation for failing to abide by the terms of a plea deal relating to his unlawful use of a minor in a sexual performance.

So what’s the back story?
The Brooklyn native, real name Daniel Hernandez, posted videos of himself with a 13-year-old in her underwear performing suggestive acts. That was back in March 2015 and in the time since he’s maintained that she told him she was 18.
Still, legal action was taken and in October 2015 6ix9ine accepted the DA’s plea deal; a deal which came with numerous conditions. These included but were not limited to the necessity that he pass his GED by October last year and get mental health treatment.
It was also stipulated that could not be arrested or commit any other violations within a two-year time-frame. For, if he did, jail time and signing on as a sex offender was likely.
Despite this, the 22-year-old has been involved in several dramas – including a fight with a teen fan and was subsequently arrested in both Brooklyn and Texas.
Incidents which saw prosecutors looking for him to receive 1 to 3 years in prison for violating the deal.
However, Tekashi’s legal team argued that both arrests happened long after the October 2017 deadline on his plea deal. Thus it was argued that he only get 4 years probation and adhere to youthful offenders program.
And the judge agreed, thus sparing the rapper jail time. [Source]
