The Rap revolution will be televised…on Netflix!

In its continued quest for domination in the visual arena, the streaming giant has announced its first ever music competition – ‘Rhythm & Flow.’

And in a huge coup, it’s secured some of the most notable names in Hip-Hop.

For Cardi B, T.I, and Chance The Rapper have all signed on as judges.

Details below…

Set for a Fall 2019 debut, the inaugural season of the show is comprised of ten hour-long episodes.

In development for over a year, the series will set about trying to discover the next breakout Hip-Hop star.

Auditions will commence in the US this Fall  and make stops in various cities – including the judges’ hometowns of Atlanta, Chicago, and New York.

In a unique angle, a renown rapper from each city visited will serve as a guest judge alongside Cardi, Chance, and T.I.

‘Rhythm & Flow’ is executive produced by John Legend, Jesse Collins, Gaspin, and Ty Stiklorius. The show’s judging trio also nab exec producer credits too.

Netflix have proven that they have a knack for remoulding traditional formats and developing compelling new concepts. As such, we’re all sorts of excited to see the twist they’ll put on the talent-search.

On paper, they’ve assembled an eclectic crop of names, who are current too. So again, exciting times.

  4. Hmmm… November 13, 2018

Lol Bruh. Cardi B cannot rap. I don’t care how big of a fan you have to be. It’s the truth. Honestly, TI is the most talented rapper of the three of them, followed by Chance. Cardi is there based on popularity.

This is only for the celebrities to get a check. The person that will win will not make it in the industry because that would mean they will be competing on the charts with the judges which is stupid.

Popularity really trumps talent and abilities .
These shows expect to be taken seriously when they have unqualified judges like Cardi B.. who is clearly a puppet rapper.
Good for her I guess .. she just wants the money like she said… and if they willing to give it .. she gonna take it.
