I love her, but her last two albums were mediocre to say the best. I only liked half of her last album (living for love and ghosttown are gems though) and mdna, yeah, it had a few moments.
Somehow I have the feeling that she lost her mojo. Good for her that she has enough classics to tour around the world for the next two decades

Hip Hop is as much a Trend as Dance, Pop, or r&b is. It’s the current music of the moment. The music that’s trending. It’s a musical style. And these styles are trending.
And you may never know- maybe it would be a successful era for Madonna. I doubt it and i‘m not curious for her doing it. But who knows. Actually, she is at a place where she can do whatever she likes. And if she wants to do an album full of flute music, she can.
