Me either these soundtracks as of late (Not including A Star is Born 💯 “ are so f****** uninspiring that they don’t even fit the themes of movie should be about. This why I miss the 90s the soundtracks then were phenomenal, well written by actual song writers, substance, quality, vocals, lyrical content, REAL musicians ect that today’s main artists lack soul and are only out for a quick pay without putting out a true body of work. I still listen to Curtis Mayfield Superly soundtrack along with the Waiting to Exhale those two are prime examples of what a SOUNDTRACKS should strive after.
