the wanna be gangsta would be Nicki Minaj…. But Nicki has multiple flows thats not her own. Her flow is the crazy silly barbie s*** that she docent do anymore. Nicki hops on a song and sounds just like the person who song she is on. None of her flows are original she steals those along with everything else.
Meh. Where’s the artistry in female rap. It’s not really about Cardi. She is what she is. She makes trap bangers, but she’s never been an talented rapper. There was never any doubt about that and I never expected anything more. So There’s a place for her and there is (or was ? probably still could be if she cleaned up her image) a place for Nicki, just like there’s a place for Future and the Migos. But for every Future and Migos we had a Chance, a Kendrick, or a J Cole. People who pushed the genre forward as an art form. Now for the ladies…. where is the balance?
I agree & respect what you’re saying but there’s been def a place for Nicki, the GP just turned on her for basically saying what you just said about Cardi, yea she makes trap bangers, but isn’t a talented rapper & don’t write all her own raps. She has a machine behind her now + her personality that’s why she’s so popular right now, she can’t out rap Nicki tho, she’d rather fight smh
Well yeah. There was always room for Nicki and there still is, I just think she self sabotages her career sometimes. I do think a lot of people bandwagoned on the hate Nicki train, And this started before Cardi back when Remy dropped her diss. But I think Nicki and her team’s entire approach to all the drama was messy. It could’ve all been handled better, in ways that didn’t make her look petty, insecure, and threatened. People can tell when you’re trying too hard and everything from her response tracks to Remy all the way to naming her album Queen, she let everybody see her sweat. That’s a no no. It’s not too late to fix. She still has the talent that Cardi doesn’t.
I agree she did let ppl see her sweat and the Hate train did start back when Remy dropped her diss . This particular era was just not handled correctly. She needs a new manager, publicist & team tbh, beacause I don’t think they did her any justice this era @ all. One of the major keys to Cardi’s success right now is the team she has who is keeping her hooked & in our faces. Beyond Queen Radio Nicki didn’t do a whole lot of promo and performances. Queen should be just been a mixtape & should’ve came out last year when she was rocking the inches & serving bawdy. Getting a new team , getting a trainer & droppin a few pounds, getting a new stylist, dropping that new boy, rebranding her image & new lots of promo will make her next era more successful

New song same old same old. Cardi is a good entertainer but she has no talent as a rapper. All of her songs are really sounding the same. Right now people are not paying attention to her for her music but for the drama that is going on in her life. Poor child she will be replaced shortly.
