Though it sold less than Post Malone‘s ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys‘, it streamed more units making it the highest-selling set of the year thanks to fans who streamed it 4 billion times.
Elsewhere, Cardi B‘s ‘Invasion of Privacy‘ is the highest-selling release by any female artist with pure sales of 206,000 units and 2 billion streams as J. Cole‘s ‘KOD‘ finds itself at #11 with 273,000 copies sold and 1 billion spins.
Ariana Grande’s ‘Sweetener’ ends the year with 964,000 copies shifted (sales and streams) placing her three spots above Nicki Minaj‘s hitless set ‘Queen’ which closes with 932,000 records sold.

Cardi’s team has had promoting & performances everywhere all year, whereas Nicki hasn’t really been doing a whole lot of promo & performances like previous eras. Nicki needs a new team behind & around her. Bey stumbled with 4, Lady Gaga stumbled with Artpop, etc so she’ll learn from the messy roll out of this era & come harder next year, hell even Ariana is already out promoting her next album. Often times all of us fans forget that these celebs are human & they have feelings so bashing, & dragging & saying negative things about this constantly is exactly why we see so many overdoses, they’re both successful in their own way, the barbs & bardo gang started this beef & the need to end it in 2019
