Iggy Azalea has explained why she continued to perform for fans after one of her dancers collapsed on stage and urged the public not to turn the matter into a meme.
Iggy was performing in Brazil when the talented dancer passed out and stunned some fans when she continued to rock out in front of the worrying scene.
Today, she has revealed why.
Hurt by the response, she issued this statement which she hoped would encourage those who are most critical of her to recognise how their actions impact her spiritual health.

What Beyonce would do is a non-issue, because Beyonce and DC have had their share of accidents on stage and the band kept playing, meaning the show goes on unless the stage has to be cleared. In this situation, the show continued until the medical crew got on stage. The last thing anyone wants when they are seizing is for everything to stop and everyone gawk and stare. It’s an embarrassing experience for them. And if you’re not a fan of Iggy, don’t buy the music or go to the shows and leave it at that. If you feel the need to be hateful and try to tear someone down to feel better about yourself, then you’re what’s wrong with the world, not Iggy.

The show could have gone on AFTER the employee was attended to and that is the right and professional thing to do. F.uck a setlist and scheduled stage time when someone can’t get up.

There is a strong difference between a seizure and falling down. Iggy’s dancer suffered a seizure. If her dancer had died Iggy’s career would be dead and the dancer’s family could legally sue Iggy for monetary damages do to vicarious liability and being killed at the work place. That is a FACT.
