Off the heels of Janelle Monae‘s two Grammy nominations for work found aboard her critically-acclaimed third album, ‘Dirty Computer’ (Album Of The Year, Best Music Video for “PYNK”), the singer recently unleashed another video to accompany one of the project’s fan favorites: ‘Crazy, Classic Life.’
Billed as the “standalone visual” from the ‘Dirty Computer’ emotion picture, the clip – directed by Alan Ferguson – is a sci-fi inspired number that sees Monae rock a punk aesthetic while showing off some crazy adventures of the 33-year-old and long-time rumored girlfriend, Tessa Thompson.
Thompson’s cleared up the rumors but hey, we can dream right? The must-see action awaits below:
I feel like she should have got more nominations. ALL of the other competing artists for Album of the Year have 5 or more nominations.
