There were no lies detected when Ariana Grande accepted the Billboard “Woman of the Year” award recently and told audience members 2018 was the “worst year of her life personally, but best professionally.”  The latter continues to prove true thanks to her most recent megahit, ‘thank u, next.’

Debuting at #1 and staying there for three weeks before being ousted by Travis Scott & Drake‘s ‘Sicko Mode’ (click here to read more), the song – thanks to its star-studded, cinematic video – not only saw its accompanying visual break Youtube records, but will also be the reason the song returns to #1 on next week’s refreshed Hot 100.
