Danity Kane Set March Release For New Music

Published: Monday 14th Jan 2019 by Sam

Last year saw Danity Kane dissolve their differences and embark on the on-going ‘Universe Is Undefeated Tour.’

Now, it appears the latest incarnation of the group – a trio comprised of Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex, and Aubrey O’Day – are pairing their reunion with new music in 2019.

Details below…

During a pre-show engagement with fans at their Dallas show this week, O’Day plugged incoming material from Richard (due January), her and Bex’s duo Dumblonde (in February), and Danity Kane (in March).

It remains to be seen whether folk are in for a new song or a body of work from the ladies. What is for certain is that it’ll be the first taste of fresh music from the much loved collective since 2014’s ‘DK3.’

With the latter being criminally underrated and totally un-promoted due to the group’s circumstance at the time, we’re more than ready for a campaign pushed the right way.

Dk3’s 2014 release was a solid body of work. Aubrey’s vocals really stood out. I’m ready for new music.

This is what I’ve been waiting to hear. Highly anticipating new music from Danity Kane. I own all three albums.

Here is to hoping they actually make appearances in their own music videos going forward…no more of that petty stuff from DK3.

I always liked these 3 ladies from the group! Dwoods never did it for me! I can’t deny Andrea’s vocal chops, but these 3 ladies are the complete package as a trio!

      D. Woods was never needed in the first place.

I may be in the minority, but I appreciated D. Woods contributions to the group. All five girls added something unique to the group. Their first two albums with all five girls are far superior to their third album. But that’s just my opinion.

That last album had a lot of promise! ‘All In a day’s Work’ was a missed opportunity for this group! I’m ready to see what they’re on next!
