R. Kelly‘s attempt to quell the raging fire ignited by Lifetime docu-series ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ has received a major blow.
As reported, the singer’s team allegedly set up a website and Facebook page designed to debunk the claims of the multiple women who accused the star of sexual, psychological, and violent abuse. Playing on the show’s title, the clap-back movement was named ‘Surviving Lies.’Array

The page has been pulled after posting alleged text messages between Kelly and one of the young females, where she repeatedly called the singer, “daddy.” A spokesperson for Facebook said, “The Page violated our Community Standards and has been removed.”
The rep continues, “We do not tolerate bullying or sharing other’s private contact information and take action on content that violates our policies as soon as we’re aware.”
It remains to be seen what other measures Kelly will explore in the attempt to mop up the mayhem.
