R. Kelly‘s attempt to quell the raging fire ignited by Lifetime docu-series ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ has received a major blow.
As reported, the singer’s team allegedly set up a website and Facebook page designed to debunk the claims of the multiple women who accused the star of sexual, psychological, and violent abuse. Playing on the show’s title, the clap-back movement was named ‘Surviving Lies.’
Launched today, the account has already received a colossal setback.

The page has been pulled after posting alleged text messages between Kelly and one of the young females, where she repeatedly called the singer, “daddy.” A spokesperson for Facebook said, “The Page violated our Community Standards and has been removed.”
The rep continues, “We do not tolerate bullying or sharing other’s private contact information and take action on content that violates our policies as soon as we’re aware.”
It remains to be seen what other measures Kelly will explore in the attempt to mop up the mayhem.

Ingredients
1 large onion
6 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
50g ginger, roughly chopped
4 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
5cm cinnamon stick
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp caster sugar
400g can chopped tomatoes
8 chicken thighs, skinned, boneless (about 800g)
250ml hot chicken stock
2 tbsp chopped coriander
Method
Roughly chop 1 large onion, transfer to a small food processor, and add 3 tbsp of water – process to a slack paste. You could use a stick blender for this or coarsely grate the onion into a bowl – there’s no need to add any water if you are grating the onion. Tip into a small bowl and leave on one side.
Put 6 roughly chopped garlic cloves and 50g roughly chopped ginger into the same food processor and add 4 tbsp water – process until smooth and spoon into another small bowl. Alternatively, crush the garlic to a paste with a knife or garlic press and finely grate the ginger.
Heat 4 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or sturdy pan set over a medium heat.
Combine 2 tsp cumin seeds and 1 tsp fennel seeds with a 5cm cinnamon stick and 1 tsp chilli flakes and add to the pan in one go. Swirl everything around for about 30 secs until the spices release a fragrant aroma.
Add the onion paste – it will splutter in the beginning. Fry until the water evaporates and the onions turn a lovely dark golden – this should take about 7-8 mins.
Add the garlic and ginger paste and cook for another 2 mins – stirring all the time.
Stir in 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric, and 1 tsp caster sugar and continue cooking for 20 secs before tipping in a 400g can chopped tomatoes.
Continue cooking on a medium heat for about 10 mins without a lid until the tomatoes reduce and darken.
Cut 8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs into 3cm chunks and add to the pan once the tomatoes have thickened to a paste.
Cook for 5 mins to coat the chicken in the masala and seal in the juices, and then pour over 250ml hot chicken stock.
Simmer for 8-10 mins without a lid until the chicken is tender and the masala lightly thickened – you might need to add an extra ladleful of stock or water if the curry needs it.
Sprinkle with 2 tbsp chopped coriander and serve with Indian flatbreads or fluffy basmati rice and a pot of yogurt on the side.

That fact that this hasn’t happened sooner baffles me! When I was in high school, videos of R Kelly with young women leaked onto the internet even with women urinating on him. I am now 33 years old and this man has been celebrated decade after decade without any repercussions of his actions. Regardless of having a great catalogue filled with hit after hit, he needs to be held accountable. He had many opportunities in the past few years to discuss all this, but any time he was given an opportunity he declined to comment and would end interviews. He’s even refused interviews more recently because he knew questions regarding his s** life and the accusations would come up. None of this information is new, it’s the voices of these women being heard and finally listened to is what has changed.
He suffered repercussions. He faced 15 counts and was found by a jury to be NOT GUILTY on all 15 countd. This is beating a dead horse! The man is older now, not hurting anyone, and is entitled to privacy in his own house. The women living with him are women because they are over 18 and they are with him by choice. They travel with him and participate in his role play games voluntarily. People need to leave him be. If is not f.ucking you to sleep then his private life is NONE of your business.

8 firm Bosc pears, stems attached
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 cups sweet wine, such as Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise
Strips of zest from 1 lemon
1 vanilla bean, split and seeds scraped
1 medium cinnamon stick
1 cup turbinado sugar
Whipped crème fraîche, for serving
How to Make It
Preheat the oven to 400°. In a 9-inch-square baking dish, arrange the pears stem end up, leaving space between them. Mix the lemon juice with the sweet wine and pour over the pears. Add the lemon zest, vanilla bean and seeds and cinnamon stick to the baking dish and sprinkle the sugar over the pears. Bake, basting every 15 minutes, until the pears are softened and starting to burst slightly, about 45 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the pears to a serving dish. Pour the syrup into a small saucepan. Cook over moderately high heat until reduced by one-third, 12 to 15 minutes. Pour the syrup over the pears; serve with whipped crème fraîche.
This dummy. Did the site also share texts and voicemails from parents trying to save their daughters from him? You don’t sound like you believe R. Kelly is the predator he’s being painted as. Guess what… the women who wanted their big break didn’t believe it either. They supported R. 1 garlic clove, halved
For soup
1 (1- to 1 1/4 -lb) live lobster
2 large tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 large onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 lb boiling potatoes
1/3 cup finely chopped fennel fronds (sometimes called anise)
1 Turkish or 1/2 California bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon crumbled saffron threads
1 1/2 tablespoons coarse sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
9 cups white fish stock (or store-bought)
3 pounds white fish fillets (such as monkfish, turbot, red snapper, striped bass, porgy, grouper, and/or cod), cut into 2-inch pieces
1/2 pound cockles or small hard-shelled clams, scrubbed
1/2 pound cultivated mussels, scrubbed and any beards removed
1/2 pound large shrimp in shells

PREPARATION
Make croutons:
Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 250°F.
Arrange bread slices in 1 layer in a shallow baking pan and brush both sides with oil. Bake until crisp, about 30 minutes. Rub 1 side of each toast with a cut side of garlic.
Make soup:
Plunge lobster headfirst into a 6- to 8-quart pot of boiling water, then cook, covered, 2 minutes from time lobster enters water. Transfer lobster with tongs to a colander and let stand until cool enough to handle. Discard hot water in pot. Put lobster in a shallow baking pan. Twist off claws with knuckles from body, then crack claws with a mallet or rolling pin and separate claws from knuckles. Halve body and tail lengthwise through shell with kitchen shears, then cut crosswise through shell into 2-inch pieces. Reserve lobster juices that accumulate in baking pan.
Cook tomatoes, onion, and garlic in oil in cleaned 6- to 8-quart pot over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened, 5 to 7 minutes. Meanwhile, peel potatoes and cut into 1/2-inch cubes. Stir potatoes into tomatoes with fennel fronds, bay leaf, saffron, sea salt, and pepper. Add stock and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, until potatoes are almost tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Add thicker pieces of fish and cockles to soup and simmer, covered, 2 minutes. Stir in mussels, shrimp, lobster, including juices, and remaining fish and simmer, covered, until they are just cooked through and mussels open wide, about 5 minutes.
Stir 3 tablespoons broth from soup into rouille until blended.
Arrange 2 croutons in each of 6 to 8 deep soup bowls. Carefully transfer fish and shellfish from soup to croutons with a slotted spoon, then ladle some broth with vegetables over seafood.
Top each serving with 1 teaspoon rouille and serve remainder on the side.
