While performing on Issa Rae‘s “Raedio” show, the revered R&B songstress shared that she wrote the song about a married man she hoped would fall in love with her.
As many an Urban lover will recall, she sung on the seductive jam:

She then revealed that that man was none other than than Mr Illmatic.
