#GRAMMYs 2019: Jennifer Lopez To Perform Motown Tribute

Published: Tuesday 5th Feb 2019 by Sam

The countdown to the 2019 GRAMMY Awards is officially on. And with music’s biggest calendar night fast approaching, organisers are lifting the lid on who else will be taking to the stage.

In a unique move, it’s been revealed that Jennifer Lopez has been tapped to perform.

Dive below for details…

In a newly aired commercial for the GRAMMYs, it was confirmed that J.Lo will be rocking the Staples Center this Sunday with a special tribute to Motown.

The slot comes as a precursor of sorts to the GRAMMYs upcoming celebration of the label’s 60th anniversary (which tapes February 12th and airs April 21st). As such, the televised look courtesy of La Lopez is a savy tie-in.

With a stacked bill, the 2019 GRAMMYs will see the likes of Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Diana Ross, and H.E.R also hit the stage.

You have to be able to sing to do a Motown tribute! Of all the artists that could be featured.. Jazmine Sullivan, Fantasia, Luke James, Jill Scott, but they got JLO.
