For, moments ago Mimi officially announced the European leg of the hotly anticipated trek.

Mounted in support of Carey’s critically acclaimed ‘Caution’ album, the trek sets sail in May, and includes a regally rare three-day residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Thereafter, she’ll head to Paris, Hamburg, Aalborg, Barcelona, Bordeaux and Amsterdam.

Almost 30 years later her status as a legend is cemented the hip-pop she took to a more mainstream level is the formula all of y’all favorites are still following today. Musically nothing is really selling everyone is making money from touring or securing residency that’s something she is doing or has done and other than same ones complaining she is still inspiring so many after all these years.

Much like Lauryn Hill she expects fans to just accept her being mediocre only because she’s been in the game for so long, but that’s not the case for a lot of her fans. We want to see more from her and if she’s asking us to spend our money on her tickets she needs to give us more.
Most people go to concerts to celebrate the artist and have a good time. If you are expecting to be wowed with amazing riffs and runs and pitch perfect high notes I think you are living in the past! Name one artist that is going to really dance, sang amazingly, and hit all their notes perfectly when their studio music is as stellar as Mariah’s? Even in her prime, she was not much of a live performer! Now 30 years later you are expecting a lot from a woman turning 50 next month (she was born in 1969). I think you should go and have a good time OR see her at a festival. I prefer festivals because you get to see a bunch of artists.

She was Mariah…a self-proclaimed Diva whose shows people go to usually because they don’t know when the next time she will tour again.
You missed the point of the comment. Led is basically saying that if these artists want us to continue giving them our money, they have to stop half assing their performances and give people their money’s worth. You don’t get a pass to be mediocre just because you’re a “Legend”. Mariah needs to stop sleepwalking through her performances, and her fans need to stop enabling her laziness.
I did not miss anything. I said what I said because I cannot think of any artist that is not half assing their performances currently. This current generation has destroyed music and the artist’s motivation to give their all in concerts. The artists that do give their all like Fantasia and SWV get no support with their concert tickets or albums sales so they to take opening act gigs. The bigger artists eventually up like Mariah sleepwalking and lip synching or Toni pointing the mic at the audience to sing for her or Britney strutting back and forth in heels instead of dancing.
The only big artists I saw give their all was Janet.
My opinion is to hit up these festivals and see 5 to 6 acts in one day for the price of one concert. That is the only way to get your money’s worth. This whole whining about things you cannot change won’t work.
The new generation goes to concerts, standing up the whole time with their phones up in the air, singing loudly so you can’t hear the artist most of the time, and wearing big hats or hair hats so its hard to even see the artist unless you end up in the first 2 rows anyway. Plenty of concerts I have gone to me and my baby have had to force people sit down because we are not standing the entire time just to see the show.

OMG it had been like 15 years since she had given a concert in Spain (Rainbow tour) until she came back to Madrid last December. And now Barcelana too for the first time??? Girl!!!!! She has toured more in 5 years than in the previous 30 years of her life. Very surprising to see her in Spain.
