Because Nicki was the one who didn’t want to help any other female when she was the IT girl in rap. Cardi is here now. Nicki has a nice run, but she has a terrible attitude. Anyone who knows her personally and worked for her will tell you that. She comes across extremely arrogant. Cardi is extremely likable, at the same time be real to who she is, and she doesn’t my sharing the spotlight.
You have a point but no they are not in two “different lanes.” They do the same type of music and rap about similar things.
