Lady Gaga triumphed on the Grammy stage Sunday night, taking home three awards for ‘A Star Is Born’ smash ‘Shallow’ – which she also performed.
The ripple effect is also seeing Mother Monster lead the pack of those benefiting commercially from music’s biggest calendar night.
Join us below for the tea…
Per Nielsen, ‘Shallow’ amassed 14,000 digital downloads on the day of the Grammys, a spike of 229% from its 4,000 sold just a day prior. The feat sees the song, a collaboration with Bradley Cooper, stand as biggest seller among all of the Grammy-performed tracks.
Elsewhere, H.E.R‘s ‘Hard Place’ registered 5,000 sales on Grammy night following her critically acclaimed performance). Up 102,000%.
Suffice to say, there’s winning and then there’s winning. Congrats to the ladies!
