Joining the likes of a host of legendary divas who have taken their talents to the Strip (see: Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey,
etc.), the news comes as quite the fitting inclusion to the singer’s farewell outing. Announced in January 2018 (as we reported here
), the “concert series” has seen the diva touch down in several major U.S. cities including Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, Nashville, New York, and more – much to the delight of dedicated fans. Performing to packed houses at every juncture of the jaunt, the run has only increased calls for new music from the ‘Giving You the Best That I Got’
While we await updates on that, Baker has confirmed the conclusion of her concert series won’t be the last we’ll hear from her as her official biopic and memoir are in the works as well. Click here
