Taylor Swift is back and playing no games!
The Pop titan unleashed new single ‘ME!’ moments ago and it already looks poised to be a monster.
Brendon Urie of Panic At The Disco joins the singer on the catchy cut and appears in the jam’s freshly unwrapped video too.
Director extraordinaire Dave Meyers takes the helm of the visual, which may be Swift’s most ambitious yet.
What are you waiting for? Check out ‘ME!’ after the jump…
Catchy, colorful, and a welcome departure from whatever the 29-year-old was attempting with 2017’s ‘Reputation.’
More sugar and less spice, the track and its incredible video see Swift play to her glossy Pop strengths while maturing her sound somewhat. Aesthetically, it’s so vastly different from the dark elements she tried exploring last go round that it does a solid (and much needed) service of washing the taste of its predecessor away.
Issued as the singer’s first release for Republic Records after signing a game-changing deal with Universal Music last November, we anticipate mega-success for ‘ME!’ And this go round, there’s no denying that it’s deserved.
