Madonna Adds MORE ‘Madame X’ Tour Dates After NYC & LA Shows Sell Out In an Hour

Published: Tuesday 7th May 2019 by Rashad

Coming as a big surprise to no one, Queen of Pop Madonna – who already holds the record as the most successful solo touring artist in history – is seeing the tickets of her recently announced theater tour being snatched up at a record pace.

As we reported here, the limited engagement is set to kick off September 12 in New York before heading to Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Boston, Miami, and other yet-revealed U.S. cities.  Following her mini-residencies in the aforementioned metros, the Material Girl is set to jet abroad to entertain her European fans in Paris, London, Lisbon, and more.  Announced just yesterday, the tour sold out five dates at New York’s BAM Howard Gilman Opera House and five at The Wiltern in Los Angeles in under an hour.

Angered fans needn’t worry, however.  The venues have already revealed the addition of new dates to see the hot ticket.  Details inside:

I ❤️ her tour announcement trailer! I wanna go! ?

5 theatre dates is equal to about one large stadium date, so I’m not surprised about the one hour sell out. I wanted to see her before, but the show was too dark/satanic for my taste. I prefer pop Madonna.

These tickets are selling based off her legacy not her new album…. lets be honest

    • XYZ May 8, 2019

Of course they do because of that. No one cares for her new albums. I bet she knows that. But she has an extremely devoted fanbase that wants to see her live. But that’s with nearly every act around her age. No one cares for newer rolling stone or Barbra Streisand Songs either. They attend the shows for a) the legacy b) because they are f****** good shows

    Them white queens love Madonna

  5. Keith May 8, 2019

The white queens DO love and financially support them some Madonna…again, I applaud her business acumen and strategic skill.

Not surprised, the majority of her white gay fans are in LA & NY. P.S., the tickets aren’t even on sale yet, they reached the maximum amount of REQUESTS for tickets in an hour, Ticketmaster is still accepting requests until May 10, but that’s assuming all the request will turn into actual ticket sales. Classic media manipulation from the master manipulator herself.

this is 3 residencies… not a tour. but okay.

  8. JOHNVIDAL May 8, 2019

Madonna and Celine Dion will tour the world at the same time.

I saw this ad an hour after it was posted. Because it said you had until the 10th to submit requests, I thought they were going to wait until the 10th and then choose randomly somehow. Now I see it was first-come, first-serve? That was very confusing. I actually had a chance had I entered immediately, but needed to figure out travel dates. They said they were letting you know on the 17th, which is my birthday – guess I messed up keeping it open all week! Maybe if she adds a few more dates…..
