We’re extremely excited to acknowledge the top creative forces behind music’s biggest hits on a weekly basis. A songwriter or producer’s influence and importance within the industry and beyond certainly merits recognition beyond our yearly rankings.
The platform is to celebrate songwriters by unleashing the weekly Top Songwriters and Top Producers tally on June 15 by using its existing chart system to track which of the chart’s entries share the same writers.
The bigger the hits…the more points each writer will receive.
The charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter or producer for each attributed song that appears on the respective charts. As done with Billboard’s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally.

The only problem with this is that scammers like Beyonce have been paying people off to get fraudulent songwriting credits so they can double dip into the profits and get more prestige. This list is gonna be filled with a whole bunch of questionable entries. Especially from the rappers who we know are using ghost writers.
