Cynthia Erivo has proven herself a rare gem and oh did she shine at the 2019 Tony Awards.
Renown for her breathtaking role as Celie in The Color Purple, the British bred talent took center-stage to deliver a rousing rendition of ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ from ‘The Lion King.’
Erivo did so in honor of the Broadway legends who’ve passed away over the last year.

Ms. Erivo is a titan of talent and we continue to be in awe of her gift.
Look out for her in the lead role of Harriet Tubman in Focus Features’ hotly anticipated biopic, coming to the big screen this November.
She oversang it in some parts, but it was mostly good, and she has a certain presence that adds to everything. I wish I could’ve seen her in Color Purple.
