The disgraced singer is accused of being a child rapist and using his star power and financial resources to silence his victims and their families.
Now, any dreams he had of getting away with his crimes have been shattered after he was denied bond…in spite of the fact that he pled not guilty.
Prosecutors argued against his release … saying he’s a danger to the community, especially to minor girls. They claim the risk of obstruction is real and ongoing, and also heightened by his fame and power. Prosecutors are also saying he has the “unique ability to influence and intimidate witnesses and victims, and that continues to this day.”
They also argued that they have good reason to believe that he is grown man in the horrific videos the FBI obtained from those from within his inner circle, and feel that he is so committed to rape that not even an electronic monitor or home confinement will stop him from preying on the vulnerable.
