Lil Kim is not only hailed for being the Queen Bee, but she’s most definitely been a busy bee of late too.
Fresh from performing at the 2019 BET Awards alongside Mary J. Blige, the female rap pioneer also popped up to perform with MJB at the 2019 Essence Festival in New Orleans.
While in town, she sat down with SiriusXM radio to dish on her long-awaited new album ‘9’ and upcoming VH1 series ‘Girls Cruise’ (for which she’s also executive producer).

I believe she’s gonna do like Drake did & start her own label & still be signed with Republc records actually. She’s def not retiring, ppl get married, have babies & still put out albums & go on tour these days. Oh My! Who are all these negative creeps. Lil Kim is iconic. Her personality and spirit shows. She needs to be commended for putting together something positive. No glass throwing or women putting down each other. This show is needed in an era of ratcheted reality.
