Humm… I lover her personality and her rap style is really different than the current favorites. And for that, I’ve committed to watching her journey. However, I’m still missing the wow factor that I need in order to become an official supporter. I feel she has it but needs a creative director to pull it out.
1st thing that has to go is that slight bounce/ gallop she does while walking the stage. She has to learn how to move from corner to corner with confidence, awareness, and with purpose. And sometimes a good strong stance, center stage, with strong movement, in the arms, does wonders. I also learned that she can actually dance. Like she has dance team training and YouTube videos to support this. I hope her creative team doesn’t sell her short by not incorporating dance into her live shows. I know Cardi is killing it but I think the new age hip hop scene can afford a class or rap entertainers. Megan can be the hip hop status Rihanna while Cardi kill it like a hip hop Beyoncé/Gaga. I get excited at the thought of it.
