The track glides to glory before the release of its parent album which will stand as the performer’s fifth set and follow the release of her latest album ‘Queen’ which delivered the tracks ‘Ganja Burn’, ‘Majesty’ and ‘Barbie Dreams.’
Unfortunately, that set failed to enjoy the hype and glory earned by her opening album ‘Pink Friday’ and its EuroPop follow-up ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.’
Now, if ‘Mega’s sales are anything to go by, it seems Minaj is on her way to reclaiming said glory with album #5.
The song is her 53rd Top 40 single.

It will freefall next week like her past singles have done. Absolutely no one outside of the delusional Barbs have MegaTRASH in rotation.
I like Nicki but lets not pretend like a new single selling thousands is equivalent to a Michael Jackson single which sold millions just because of a chart position. The charts do not state the amount sold. You have to look at the revenue generated from the single for true comparison. Thus, Nicki has not outsold Michael or Jay-z. She just got her singles to the same chart number as they did which is a huge win for her. I think this comparison stuff is done at the expense of defaming older artists work who sold millions. The music these days sells for pennies on the dollar and in many cases for FREE. For example, I watched Nicki’s video a couple times FREE on youtube and even though i did not pay a cent my streaming counts as a ‘sale’. In Michael Jackson’s time people had to actually buy the single at the record store. How do you compare spending $5 to $6 per single to FREE watching of a single?

MJ, Whitney, Prince, Aretha, Elvis, The Beatles, even Jay Z..did not have streaming so dont COMPARE them to Nicki Garbaj.. dont even compare her to Missy, Salt N Pepa or Lauryn.
