Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars are easily the two most popular male Pop stars on the scene today. As such, a collaboration of epic proportion just seems fitting. And, if you ask us, they certainly succeeded with the Rock-tinged ‘Blow.’
The latest effort from the former’s highly anticipated forthcoming opus, ‘No. 6 Collaboration Project’ (which has already seen singles with Khalid, Justin Bieber, and more lifted in its support), ‘Blow’ also calls on help from Country powerhouse Chris Stapleton.
Coming as yet another sonic departure from Sheeran, look inside to hear just what the trio of vocalists cooked up:
The culture vulture jumped out. Ed Sheeran strikes again. First he copied jamaican reggae, then rnb now he has copied black 70’s rock n roll
This sounds like James brown or ray Charles.
Oh please… I don’t even care about him in the first place. We all know he hasn’t invented the genres you listed. And he doesn’t pretend he did.
But because he’s white he should stay away from certain types of music ? And do what exactly ? Stick to EDM or Country ?
See music doesn’t have a race, an age… it’s universal.
The guy is talented, whether you like him or not. He’s not the formated nice looking Pop Star, he plays the guitar, he’s a good singer, seems like what he writes is successful… So I say keep doing your thing.
Thank you. According to their logic, blacks shouldn’t be allowed to Jump on EDM Songs or to do what lil nas x (i hope thats his name) is doing. They are not better than the hillbillys
lol…you know edm was started by black gays in Chicago right? And country was literally ripped straight from African musicians right?
Don’t forget he swaggerjacked Jamaicans with that fake vybz kartel dancehall beat on I Don’t Care.
Oh stop!
He not Jamaican was he fakin’
Milli vannilli… Sheeran
I like it. They all slayed.
Ok so… how is that a collabo exactly ?
Maybe they crafted the song all together.
But when I listen to this song, I just hear 3 guys singing their parts one after another.
They are not singing TOGETHER at some point. No harmonies, nothing.
Yes sonically the song is nice, but what a waste. They could have been a little bit more creative with the vocals.
Regarding Chris S., I don’t like his voice at all. His tone is very « country cliché » if you see what I mean.
Disappointing.
Chris Stapleton on his song: I WAS WRONG is a great vocal and emotive song
Everytime white people makes music y’all deemed them culture vultures wtf. Blacks invented every genre of music wtf y’all want them to sing?? Music doesn’t have color it’s universal.
Of course you would say that. Your fave is singing rnb soul and she gets praised for it. While they’re other black artist whos been doing it for years and doesn’t get the same praise.
There’s also other white artists who’ve been doing it for years and don’t get the praise. Get over it.
Wow! He can sing so many different genres of music. So hugely talented. Plus he is acting as well. Saw him in the movie yesterday.
Best versatile artist there is out there.
Anyone who writes a class song like perfect deserves all the success they get.
I’ll take my comment back you don’t need to do a song with Nicki Minaj she doesn’t need to do a song with you f*** you. Bye
ok but THIS https://youtu.be/oMp58oVociw
I mean – I cant even say “well, I guess ??♂️“. No – just NO. What does Ed seriously bring of value and impact to the music industry? He is ovvvvvvverrrrrrrrrrrated AF and there are plenty of other unknowns who could execute this song more authentically – if he stopped releasing music nothing would change. The end.
Well because you think there are tons of artists out there having the impact you’re talking about ? That doesn’t happy very often.
Yet he’s still still, several successful albums in a row, touring stadiums.
Clearly he is doing something write.
Those other unknown people you’re referring to… well they are unknown. Why aren’t they on the charts like him ?
Still *successful
Something right*
Sorry for the autocorrect
No.
