I don’t want to sound like I’m hating on Lizzo, but if she was trully happy with the body she has, what’s up with the big oversized boa? What is it that she doesn’t want us to see? If this video was meant to promote body acceptance, why wasn’t the camera focused on the big girls in the background more? Missy Elliot and Lizzo went out and found the most unattractive bodies they could find, because the didn’t want a big girl with a more attractive body upstaging her. When a woman chooses to put herself out there like that, she cannot be thin skinned. Let’s be honest here. In a recent article in Essence magazine ( Her pictures were beautiful by the way) she claimed that she was a size 18. I sew on the side. If she’s a size 18 then my name is Dennis Rodman. Why is she lying about her size if she’s supposed to be so proud of being big? Lizzo needs to take that big oversized boa off and let everyone see all of her if she’s trully trying to be a spokesperson for the big girls out here who are insecure about their bodies. Only then will people believe she’s really happy with the way she looks. I’m sorry, but that outfit didn’t flatter her at all. I would have custome made Lizzo an outfit that would have been s*** and tasteful. Instead of spending all of that money on awesome special affects, the producer should have spent more on her wardrobe. A woman doesn’t have to wear something like that to get attention, or to get her point across. When it comes to woman of a certain size, less is more. Missy Elliot ought to be ashamed of herself. This whole thing was probably her idea, because even though this was supposed to have been a video featuring Lizzo, somebody went out here and found the ugliest most awful drag queen looking Holloween costume they could find. Somebody didn’t want Lizzo’s beautiful face to upstage Missy Elliot in that video. They put her in that awful costume to distract us. She looked like an over weight Marvel comics super hero. I thought Stan Lee was going to pop up in the video somewhere. Him and his old school car. Lizzo, Missy is not your friend. Somebody with your best interest at heart would not have put you in that outfit. It was absolutely hideous.
