What’s more, recent times have seen select artists strategise submissions (with different songs) so as to win in both. Case in point, Bruno Mars who bagged Record for ’24k Magic’ and Song for ‘That’s What I Like.’ It seems as though Taylor Swift has embraced a similar motive.

Every year same old mentality. Because she is one of the most popular urban artists to grammy voters what Bey is actually doing is blocking lesser known black artists from getting their submissions accepted on the voting ballot. If she had any humility at all she would not submit herself every year.

I’m screaming at beyonce submitting spirit for ROTY and SOTY. The was nice and all but it absolutely played no where except in the movie theater. Record and song of the year are big big songs that mostly stay relevant for the whole year. Spirit was relevant for 1 week.
