Mariah Carey is the unrivalled Queen of Christmas and is set to mark a major milestone this holidays. For, it’ll be 25 years since she released her classic ‘Merry Christmas’ album – which houses colossal smash ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’

To honor the occasion, Mimi just announced that she’ll be unwrapping the ‘Merry Christmas Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition.’

Details below…

Set for release on November 1st, the project will be comprised of two-discs, fusing tracks from the original LP with select cuts from the 2010 follow-up ‘Merry Christmas II You’ and more.

Speaking on the release, Carey gushed:

Lambily! ❤️? MERRY CHRISTMAS is turning 25 and I’m celebrating by releasing a very special 2 CD Deluxe Anniversary Edition on November 1st featuring, for the first time ever, my St. John The Divine performance and more! ? Pre-order now for early access to tickets to my US tour.

Love it!

What’s more, with ‘All I Want’ reaching a new peak of #3 last year, this certainly assists its charge towards the top spot (note the multiple versions featured? A smart play in today’s streaming claimte).

Like, how awesome would that be: Mimi securing her 19th #1 on the song/album’s 25th anniversary? It’d be a triumph on many a front!

We’re rooting for her! Are you?

Yes I still have many especially Giving Me Life on repeat and God each year I love playing “ Miss You Most (At Christmas Time) “ ????? let’s get Mariah her 19th #1

      • china September 23, 2019

Giving me life is a bop

    • SMH September 23, 2019

Lol “Greatest female artist of all time” is a bit of a stretch there, bub.

    • Brent Christopher September 23, 2019

Mariah is actually quite PATHETIC! she and her team wait every year for the holiday season to come around for them to poke at the very minimal mainstream success that she can attribute to her name. The fact that she has become this “Christmas Act” over the past 10 years is quite sad & embarrassing to her brand. WHY RELEASE a double disc effort of recycled material?… a project that won’t even push 7,000 hard copies.

I AM SO SICK & TIRED of her parading around every November through December with this same ol shtick. GIVE IT A REST and release a real studio album that even mildly compares to your last acclaimed effort … 14 years ago!

Ain’t no one checking for that novel.

oh, It’s Xmas soon. Time to get Mooriah out of storage again. The only time she’s relevant.

    • gina September 23, 2019

      right lol!

    • Brent Christopher September 23, 2019

Lmao!! Precisely what I just said.
      She’s HORRIBLE!!

    • Kurtz September 23, 2019

      When are you relevant though?
      Legends are always relevant period.
Madonna Janet Mariah Celine older divas don’t sell as much as they are over 40
But they tour and will always be relevant

  3. SMH September 23, 2019

    No thanks, keep it.

    • Brent Christopher September 23, 2019

RIGHT! the entire god awful, recycled project.
no one is wasting a coin on a rehash of her favorite Christmas carols & holiday fluff.

      • Saith September 24, 2019

Y’all need to realize you are in a minority of people who don’t appreciate Mariah’s Christmas music. But also, she isn’t a Christmas act. She has 18 #1 hits. More than ANY SOLO ARTIST. She happened to write and produce one of the most successful Christmas songs of all time. Why wouldn’t she capitalize on it?

  4. gina September 23, 2019

    hard pass.

    • Brent Christopher September 23, 2019

      BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!

      • Andy tan September 23, 2019

Hah bitter much? Are u angry that the rest of the 90s divas can’t even stay relevant at all & only Mariah can (at least during Christmas) & u seem to conveniently forgot she released her most critically acclaimed album ‘Caution’ last year. Who else can boast that after 30 years in the business?

  5. Fancy BISH September 23, 2019

It’s that time of the year! The Queen Of Christmas ? is back to slay ? ⛄️

    • Okay? September 23, 2019

      YES????????

  6. Swirly September 23, 2019

Mariah is the QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS. I’m not mad at her for capitalizing from it yearly. AIWFCIY is up there with traditional Christmas Carols as one of the most recognizable holiday hits. Get your coins Mimi.

  7. Jason September 23, 2019

Christmas Queen is coming!!! ???? Mimi’s Christmas sales alone make her Iconic!

  8. Caleb September 23, 2019
