Normani is definitely making her mark in the right places. She will get to the top, but as a dark skinned black woman trying to branch out and reach an audience that doesn’t look like her, it’s a longer process than what is required for someone like Camila. Society is messed up and that’s the way it is. #33 is not bad at all for Normani’s first solo pop attempt. If she keeps fighting, she’ll steadily keep winning.
