Rapper Trina is today mourning the loss of her mother Vernessa Taylor, who died following a brave battle with cancer.

TMZ confirms that the femcee’s mom passed away aged 62. A statement from Trina’s rep read:
“Thank you all for your kind words and condolences regarding Trina’s mother. It truly gives the family some peace and comfort knowing that ‘Nessa’ lived such a fulfilling life filled with love and abundance.”
Fans will note that the star has been fairly vocal about tough times of late, something this tragedy sheds light on.
