As unexpected pairings go, few can rival the randomness of Ashanti and Lady Gaga‘s live link-up last night.
Fresh from rocking the stage at her ‘Enigma’ residency in Las Vegas, Mother Monster was on-hand for a performance the R&B singer gave at a nearby venue.
During Ashanti’s showing, a playful sing-off ensued.

At first, I gotta admit that I did laugh, like really Ashanti ? Then I thought about it… That was actually enjoyable to watch. To see two FEMALE singers share the mic, just outta pure fun, that’s rare today. Then I thought a little more… Imagine Lady Gaga singing tapping a straight up R&B song, like “Foolish” ? That would be something for the ears. Maybe she should give a go, just one time. Ashanti’s voice has definitely grown, over time. Lady Gaga’s voice is STELLAR! ❤️
