Frank Ocean Announces New Queer Night Named ‘PrEP+’

Published: Thursday 17th Oct 2019 by Sam

Frank Ocean is living in the luminosity of his light and is launching a new club night to encourage others to do the same.

Its name? ‘PrEP+’

Details below…

In a press release issued moments ago, it’s explained that the New York night – which draws its name from the HIV prevention drug PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis – is named as such to pay “homage to what could have been of the 1980s’ NYC club scene if the drug…. had been invented in that era.”

As well as the poster below, house rules were touted as being:

No photos or videos are allowed
Consent is mandatory
Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or any form of discrimination
The dance floor is for dancing

Like most things Frank, there is an air of mystery. Because means of snapping up tickets have yet to disclosed. However, tickets for the inaugural event are said to “have been distributed.” Take from that what you will.

The news comes as Ocean continues work on brand new music.
