Little Mix Cancel Australian Tour; Cite Need To Record New Album

Published: Thursday 24th Oct 2019 by Sam

Little Mix are laser-focussed on new music and, unfortunately for their fans Down Under, it spells the end of their upcoming dates in the region.

Details below…

In a candid announcement today, the Pop quad revealed that they’re cancelling their Australian and New Zealand shows so as to record the follow-up to 2018’s ‘LM5’ project:

Having pulled the plug on the December Australasian dates, ‘LM5: The Tour’ now wraps at London’s O2 Arena on November 22nd.

The news comes on the heels of the unveiling of the group’s upcoming TV show ‘Little Mix The Search,’ which sees them form an all-new band.

We imagine, with the series premiering in 2020, the ladies will be looking to align new music with that platform and use the collective momentum to build into the summer tour the show is giving the new band the chance to be a part of.

If indeed the case, it’s a smart play, just one that sadly sees the Aussie fans miss out. For now. We’re sure they’ll be back.

Right. Nothing to do with their latest single stalling at #86 in Australia. There’s an air of desperation around this group at the moment. Things have gone downhill since they left Simon Cowell’s label.
