Madonna‘s tardiness may see her called to court.
Because, a disgruntled fan has filed suit against the singer for her lateness.
As reported, the Pop Queen caught ample flack in Las Vegas this weekend when she hit the stage almost two hours late to commence her the Sin City stop of her ‘Madame X World Tour.’
Word is that attendees booed her in earnest, chanted “refund refund,” and left early.
Now, per TMZ, Nate Hollander is suing the singer and her team – alleging that he lost a lot of money due to her lateness on the trek.
Hollander’s filing shares that he purchased tickets to Madge’s December 17th show – which had a listed start time of 8.30pm.
With the singer routinely reaching the stage later than touted, emails were sent around saying that the legend would now be kicking off her show at 10.30pm – which is where Hollander’s primary issue stems.
He insists the change is ludicrous for a mid-week evening show and that his three tickets are consequently less valuable – given the $1,024.95 he parted with for them. What’s more, he’s allegedly being denied a refund.
A jarred Hollander is reported to be rallying other disappointed fans to file a class-action suit.
Meanwhile, tonight at her second Vegas show, Madge addressed the time-keeping issues, telling The Colosseum:
“Here’s something you all need to understand … and that is, that the queen is never late.”
Sigh.
