Much of 2019 has seen the 26-year-old establish a clean slate, parting ways with her label RCA and longtime manager.
It led many to wonder what her next move would be and it seemed like a producer preemptively shared news of her new management home.
That speculation earlier this summer saw the singer insist that she wasn’t signed to the Jay-Z imprint.
Well, Billboard has now gone on record to confirm that she has indeed inked a management deal with the Roc.
It would appear the initial confusion may have stemmed around the fact that, with the company also running a label, the assumption from some corners may have been that she signed to that branch of the business – which she has not.
Instead, shepherded by the Roc, Tinashe is pressing ahead as an indie act and will soon be releasing new project ‘Songs For You’ – which features singles ‘Die A Little Bit’ and the 6LACK assisted ‘Touch & Go.’

How can you say it won’t happen when it already happened? We all know who Tinashe is, she keeps on releasing music so I don’t know what’s wrong with you man but you have a serious problem.
I love female singers but she never gown on me…I think she had multiple opportunities and was supported by her label a lot and yet never had any huge impact on charts or sales, is another misstep for Mr Carter.
I think he’s starting to loose his touch.
AMEN. I dont think Jay-z ever had a “touch”. He just signs female artists that are light skin but not real singers. Heaven forbid he recognize talented real singers like Jazmine Sullivan, Fantasia, Brandy, Sunshine Anderson, etc. They are too dark for color struck Jay-z. Hence why he signs a bunch of unknown white women and light skin flops like Bridget Kelly, Rita Ora, Nicole Bus, Willow Smith, etc. and now Tinashaflop. Any dark skin woman that ever signed on to Roc Nation gets shelved indefinitely like Andrea Martin who still has not even released a new single since 2009.
Don’t forget Justine Skye. Jay-Z pays her absolute dust….and she’s hella talented.

Her songs do nothing to the ears. So bland and boring
