Celine is a legendary artist. She is like Barbara Streisand coming through with a new release and charting top 5. The only difference is Barbara is a jew and she aint giving away free albums through a your bundle to chart high! You have to buy Barbara Streisand albums with money for the sale to count whereas Celine is giving her album away to concert attendees.

Barbara never did that with a studio album! She gave away a live concert album as a present to her fans that bought concert tickets but she would never do that with new material.

Tour bundle sales should not count for any of these artists because the album is sold at zero dollars in a bundle. Yet, mostly all artists use tour bundles now to inflate their “sales” except for my man Drake. He just bundles merchandise but you still have to buy his albums separately .
Celine’s San Antonio, TX show is selling as low as 53 dollars per concert ticket and that also includes a free Courage album per ticket. Seems to me tour bundle sales should not count because people really bought a concert ticket and the album is just given to them whether or not they want the album.

If you’ve been to the concert you understand that she’s not giving it away because she’s desperate to sell. This woman sings her face off to FULL arenas every night. If she wants to bundle, she can. That takes nothing away from her brilliant voice/show, and Iconic career. She’s not worried about you or the talentless people you Stan!

Bundled CDs are never free. You better believe the cost is rolled into the price of the ticket.
Not really. When I look at some of the shows the tickets are as low as 53 bucks a ticket. A CD costs 12 to 15 bucks. A legendary performer like Celine should not be giving away her new album with 53 dollar concert tickets. Ticketmaster says ALL tickets include the free album, regardless of the concert ticket price, as long as you buy the concert ticket on ticketmaster and not through a reseller.

First of all its per order not per ti ket so if you order 4 tickets its still 1 album you get. Second not everybody redeems their album cause you dont just get it you have to redeem it otherwise she would have sold more than 700000 in first week… she is a legend so treat her with respect cause she works as hard as mariah and kept her voice even better..btw she is 4 days going 1 album in the world on itunes charts so no bundles there sit down have a seat and learn several lessons

Who cares if an artist gives away a CD when your purchase a concert ticket? We all know the worth and power that Celine’s name holds. “Concert bundles shouldn’t count for actual sales” blah blah blah. Amounts of streams shouldn’t count as a sale but here we are. You have to adapt with the changes in the music industry or you’ll flop. Younger artists today wish they could sell that many pure copies of their albums in a week. Let’s just celebrate the quality of this album as it is her best English material since A New Day Has Come and the positive critiques it’s receiving.

Adele, Drake, and Beyonce don’t give away studio albums with their tours and they are younger artists than Celine. Most older artists Celine’s age don’t give away studio albums with their tours either (Mariah, Barbra Streisand, Shania Twain, etc). I understand giving away a concert t-shirt or hat but to give away a studio album and then count the giveaway as a “sale” is cheating the system because people who want to see a concert will buy the ticket regardless of a new album so that is definitely inflating your sales!
