Camila Cabello Breaks Silence Following Racism Scandal

Published: Wednesday 25th Dec 2019 by Sam

Camila Cabello has ended her social media hiatus following the racism scandal that threatened the vitality of her career.

As reported, the ‘Liar’ singer became embroiled in drama after multiple social media entries from her teens emerged showing her using the n-word and other racist language.

The singer apologized, citing her age and ignorance at the time.

Many, however, didn’t take to her words, with R&B star K. Michelle branding her a “racist rat.”

Looking to move on from the melee, Camila has returned to the net. Her words below…

Taking to Instagram, share shared the shot of herself with family and said:

“feels really good to be home with family. sending everyone love and peace wherever you are, happy holidays and merry Christmas ❤️”

While some feel Cabello has said what she “needs” to say on the matter, others feel a more specific addressing of her wrongs is a must. So, we imagine for the latter, the notion of her proceeding as “normal” won’t cut it.

With what said, what are…

Your thoughts?

??? They say he likes a good time (My oh my)
He comes alive at midnight (Every night)
My mama doesn’t trust him (My oh my)
He’s only here for one thing, but (So am I)

Yeah, a little bit older, a black leather jacket
    A bad reputation, insatiable habits
He was onto me, one look and I couldn’t breathe, yeah
I said, if he kissed me, I might let it happen (Oh)

I swear on my life that I’ve been a good girl (Oh)
Tonight, I don’t wanna be her???

Though Camila Cabello’s apology seems sincere and many people appreciated it, admitting her wrongs doesn’t erase the impact her insensitivity had on the groups she insulted. Only time will tell if there will be actual repercussions in store for Cabello and her career. Hopefully she passed through this, she’s very talented woman.

She’s not going to get away with this again. Album already free falling on iTunes. Bye girl. You’re a racist troll, unattractive, and a leech.

Camila posted this racist stuff when she was 15 and she deeply regret and apologized for it. I feel sorry and bad for her being dragged by the media. Jeezh, just let her be

I am just so tired of people saying she was 15 years old, get out of here with that messy.
We are not back in the 70s when I grew up where there was no computer access to information like it is today. But we had television and that is were we got our information
from. But I also remember my mother telling me a story about how Elvis Pressely saying
something racist about black people back then, and he almost lost his career because
he thought black people opinions didn’t matter, but just like Camilia when he records
sells started dropping. He had come wiht an apology too.

Lol! Her and Shawn are both racists. They can disappear into oblivion.
Merry Christmas yall! Be blessed ?

Racists and homohobes use the same lines over and over, I was young, I have now grown and i am now a better person blah blah blah blah blah

  8. truthteller December 25, 2019

She was 15, not 10 years old. She should have known better. The rumours about her being racist Normani suggest she is sorry for being caught out rather than the actual comments

    • Bam December 25, 2019

yup. She said little to nothing when her fans were sending normani racist, photoshopped pics of her being lynched. And the whole I was 15 thing is BULL-SH*T. They teach racism as young as 3rd grade hell maybe even 2nd these days and I went to a pretty much all white school. Those kids knew what it was and so did Camilla.

      • Bam December 25, 2019

        *teach about racism In America

  9. Randall Jae December 25, 2019

It’s the race that’s so forgiving to her that wasn’t spoken toward in a racist tone so of course you all are quick to say let it go and let’s move past this but WE the people are speaking and reacting

    US iTunes:

    #19(+1) – My Oh My (feat. @DaBabyDaBaby)

‘My Oh My’ (feat. @DaBabyDaBaby) is now the #1 song Taking Off at Pop Radio!

    ??????

And her label hasn’t sent the song to radio yet.

Its Christmas season, every body listening to Christmas music but Camila is still rising

    They hate to see it
    ???

She apologized, what more do you guys want from her.
If she donates money to black charities, yall are going say she’s throwing money at the issue cause she rich.

    She was 15.
15 year olds do stupid stuff that’s why we don’t allow them to vote, or drive, or get married, or drink alcohol cause teenagers are dumb

Even an 18 year old is dumb
Even a 30 year old still make dumb life decisions, look at many of you who visit this blog for example.
    ???

    • eric December 25, 2019

Being dumb and intentionally evil are two different things. Her intention was to celebrate the attitude and belief that blacks are subhuman, and she did it repeatedly knowing full well it was promoting the hate that Normani would eventually endure from the same platform Camila used for her racist trolling.

      • Clarks0oñ December 25, 2019

        Blah blah blah
        She was 15.
Trying to spin it into a bigger issue. Smh

U are jealous of her career and success

U guys are trying to make normani a victim
Victimhood can only get u so far
Sympathy can only get u so far

Go and stream motivation, cause normani seriously needs those streams.

I am streaming my oh my cause I want Camila to get a 3rd number one
        Bye bìtch

    • truthteller December 25, 2019

If she had made these comments last year instead of when she was 15, you would still defend her. At least be honest with yourself. I’m surprised you haven’t said this is some sort of conspiracy to derail her career

  11. Clarks0oñ December 25, 2019

    .@Camila_Cabello feat. @DaBabyDaBaby – My Oh My

    37,973,372 total streams (+2,139,868)

    ??????

    2 million streams daily.

    .@Normani – Motivation

    135,636,849 total streams (+448,354)

    Flop
    ???????

    • Jam December 25, 2019

Normani was doing those numbers when the song came out. A MUCH stronger debut than crying in the club, which was Camila’s first failed single.

      • Clarks0oñ December 26, 2019

        Dumb àss
Waves is normani debut and it didnt chart

Crying in the club is platinum and has sold more than motivation
Crying in the club also has more YouTube views than motivation

        ????

  12. Just Sayin’ December 25, 2019

  13. Respect Mimi December 25, 2019

ermmm why is an urban/black culture blog like TGJ constantly churning out articles about this girl? Is it because her one Looney Tune fan gives y’all enough clicks and comments unlike your other articles?

    • Sweetnothings78 December 25, 2019

JeeZ that weirdo on here who imposes itself on every post not relevant to her. It’s actually incredibly weird he/she does that.
      White coats are coming!

  14. ME YOU US December 26, 2019
