Brown is accused of purchasing and owning a wild monkey without a permit and came under fire when he shared a video of his child playing with the creature.
Today, he has been ordered to hand the beast over to a monkey retreat facility and give them $35,000. All of the charges he is facing will be dropped on June 6th if he complies with the overseeing judge’s wishes.
He is prohibited from purchasing any monkeys for the next six months but may be able to visit his former pet in its new home if the facility gives him the OK to do so.

Chris absolutely does R&B music. You have to accept R&B music has evolved and Chris has been a leader in its evolution. He won the 2012 Grammy for Best R&B Album for FAME and continues to be nominated year after year for the Grammy’s R&B categories. Similarly, Chris has won 4 American Music Awards and numerous nominations in the R&B categories. Furthermore, Chris has won 10 Soul Train Awards in the R&B categories and 14 BET Awards in the R&B categories. Clearly, ALL the major award shows categorize his music as R&B and recognize his greatness.
Lol the fact that you had to bring up the 1 Grammy award he’s won for the guy that you swear is the reigning King of R&B is hilarious. Mentioning the irrelevant Soul Train and BET awards is even more hilarious. Chris is basically a rapper labelled as an R&B artist. Like I said R&B music has evolved and Chris has been a leader in its evolution. I never said Chris was the King of ‘Traditional R&B’. Just because you are not with the times does not mean everyone is going to be with you. Radio, Award Shows, Sales, Streaming, etc all reflect that Chris’s style of music is what is considered R&B music these days. Get with the times.
