Ciara peak was her first album! She was fresh & exciting she drop the ball trying to change her image so fast. She should had stay with jazzy pha for her second album to keep building her audience & sound, but she change her sound so quick it confused the people who were following her like me for instance. I loved the brown hair & every song she released from that album
To see her music career in the spot it’s in is so sad. I wish she was doing all of this promo with a sing like Ride. I miss my hard hitting, 808’s and heavy bass Ciara. Nobody wants this pop ? from you Ciara. I understand you’re a mom and maybe you don’t want to be provocative anymore, but this new music is worse than Selena Gomez’s Disney music.

This is great and she’s doing good…but she can do even better then this! These gigs have gotten her profile up in Hollywood, but still on the music side. It’s the same dwindling and even cringeworthy results. Statistically her music after Level Up has been utterly humiliating. Her music videos can barely get past 1 million views. Ciara will remain beneath the two women she wants to be in ranks with. Her moves are very strategic and she’s not playing about proving people wrong. She’s a hard working and hustla. That in itself, tells you she is hungry for a top spot. Sadly she won’t get there if she keeps being messy with her music. Ciara has always been lazy when it comes to investing in her actual musical growth. It’s not about looking perfect, or talking like a Caucasian soccer Mom. It’s not about placing it in a ad or a hosting gig. It’s about her music that is written poorly and has no depth. She writes with the wrong intention of getting in an ad or either it turning into a challenge. She post the same controlled videos trying to make these horrendous songs go viral. Just stop already. Those of us with trained media eyes can see it. It’s not working… please sing about world hunger, helping the sick and homeless, depression, anxiety, self esteem, education, heritage… something that helps others and not yourself. Place yourself outside of your comfort zone of looking like a model doing Jamaica’s repetitive choreography. Go to these locations and sing about it. It’s not about a marketing ploy. It’s about showing maturity and being human. Ciara is a follower. She morphs into whoever she is around. She is a bit vain and it’s hindered her… The melanin song is nothing but an ill intent to hop on social media trends to get attention. WE the public can tell when its authentic, and its not Ciara. She can cry on command and then out of no where, be back to normal. Sis, that’s your problem…it’s phony… so get real or stay hosting just to get a slot. You are better then this. Also, her team needs to get her some high profile acting jobs. A voice over animated movie and some international tours. How much can you bare to keep trying to beg for America’s attention when you keep getting the same tired results. I wish her well…
