Camila Cabello is having an exciting week.
As fans celebrate the release of her second album ‘Romance‘, an interview she gave to promote the set has seen them rediscover gems from her young and promising discography.
In said interview, the entertainer revealed that an earlier version of the track which would become Ariana Grande‘s ‘God is a Woman’ was sent to her by its writers before its given to the ‘Side to Side’ maestra.
A snippet of Cabello’s version of the hit track.
Like Ariana, Camila is blessed with a sound that is uniquely her own so we have good reason to believe her version would been just as good had she released it.
Ariana and Camila aren’t the only entertainers who came close to releasing the same track. Did you know that Toni Braxton‘s ‘Unbreak My Heart’ was written for Celine Dion?
…or that Celine’s ‘Because You Loved Me’ was originally for Toni?
