Rep: Beyonce NOT Performing In Ghana Despite Rumors

Published: Friday 27th Dec 2019 by Sam

For fans hopeful for a Beyonce performance this weekend in Ghana, it’s bad news.

Because, it’s official: Queen Bey will not be taking to the stage.

Full story below…

For months, rumors have swirled about the superstar songstress performing during Year of the Return festivities in Accra. Which, for those not in the know, is an initiative to draw Black folk in the Western world and beyond back to the continent in recognition of it being 400 years since the first slave arrived in Virginia.

And the speculation intensified when Bey dropped Afrobeats-inspired project ‘The Gift’ – featuring many artists from the diaspora.

With many of said acts congregating this weekend at the AfroNation festival in Accra, anticipation for Bey reached fever pitch.

However, her longtime publicist has concretely denied any such showing:

Just here to deliver the truth. The official truth and nothing but the truth. Beyoncé is NOT performing in Accra, Ghana this weekend. To all who have returned “home,” have the most beautiful time. #onelove

It’s been over a year since her last known performance and there’s no word yet on when Mrs Carter will be back on-stage.

What is for sure is that whenever it is, the masses are sure to be in formation to see the Queen do what she does best!

Your thoughts?

I thought Ms Yvette was white! And the ship in Virginia was not the first one engaging in s**** trade ?

Not surprised. She exploited african culture for her own profit and yet couldn’t even perform over there. She’s a disgrace to humanity

Hmmmm…. I find it odd that although like always, rumors of Beyonce are circulating around about her and for the first time SOMEONE is actually responding. This is like the 3rd time within a 2 – 3 month span that something about Beyonce is being spread and someone is actually speaking up. Lol. Idk what to say about this but my eyebrows are definitely raised with a “smiiiiizze” ??

Chile her Afro beat project didn’t go according to plan so of course she’s not. She wants no part, in to the next opportunity.

    She’s about to drop something

When her management starts denying rumours, something is coming

FLOPmila is the worst disaster of the year. When Shawna Mendes has his PR break up their fake relationship Cameltoe will be begging for Normani and 5H to save her with a reunion. Not happening boo.

Of course she’s not performing there. This b|tch doesn’t care about black people and never has! Except to exploit them for her own gain. Stay blind y’all!

    • Sweetnothings78 December 28, 2019

How does she exploit black peoples? I’m genuinely interested to understand.
