Rihanna is ready to resolve the legal issues she has with her father in court.

The amiable singer was forced to launch a lawsuit against her father Ronald after she discovered he was exploiting her name and likeness for financial gain.
Why?
Although Mr. Fenty is Rihanna’s father, he does not have, and never has had, authority to act on Rihanna’s behalf.
She is accusing him of booking her for shows for $15 million without her permission and tried to stop him with legal action in the past.
Alas, it was to no avail which is why she has been forced to take him court.

Ronald tried to trademark the phrase “Fenty” for a line of boutique hotels, but it was shot down by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
Why?
He argued he was the first to use “Fenty” and not Rihanna. He claims to have launched his entertainment company to develop a reality show and promote his “career, business activities, personal branding and name recognition in the entertainment industry and as a celebrity.”
Here’s hoping their feud is resolved amicably.

This is so heartbreaking man. This woman makes enough money where her dad doesn’t have to be out here doing hustling s**t to make a buck.
I have a real question…why when these artist become so successful they make sure their moms don’t have a need in this world but the fathers are always left out. I feel like both beyonce and Rihanna’s dad clearly don’t have money which is why they are out here milking their daughters name for a quick buck.

Rihanna’s father and mother were in an abusive relationship when she was growing up. She also didn’t get the attention she needed from her father. Her father was supposed to provide for her so why is it that he now is able to have all of these ventures. Why did he not do this before Rihanna became famous (like Beyoncé’s father). Case closed. Imagine being Rihanna having to sell your soul and give up every hole to get in the industry while your father then tries to come up off you.
To piggyback off what you have said,Beyoncé father stole so much money from Beyoncé while out cheating on her mom bringing in two children into a sitting that he and Tina wasn’t even divorced but still married. And he didn’t think what he did wasn’t no fault on him

Omg why do you always gotta be so dumb… cut the leeches off! Ronald here could have sat and humbly asked or waited for RiRi to take care of him, instead he tried to exploit her for money. Matthew could still have a seat at the table had he not played with Destiny’s Child money but he stole from ALL girls including his daughters and let’s not even get into what he’s done to Miss Tina! If you think about what Rihanna went through with Chris before leaving, it’s likely that she experienced that by means of her parents marriage. So yeah cut the cheaters and woman beaters off!
