A$AP Rocky may have the green light to talk at will about ‘Don’t Be Dumb 2,’ the highly anticipated deluxe edition of his Billboard 200-topping last album ‘Don’t Be Dumb,’ but it’s clear there’s at least one unreleased musical project that remains unauthorized for his commentary.
Two months after Rocky (born Rakim Meyers) let it slip during an interview that his megastar life partner Rihanna is hard-at-work on her long-awaited ninth studio album (tentatively titled ‘R9’), the rapper – who recently walked the red carpet of the 2026 Academy Museum Gala (October 17) – revealed the aftermath of that announcement wasn’t exactly positive.
“It was hell,” the rapper told ‘The Hollywood Reporter‘ of Rih’s reaction to his snafu. “Yeah, I shouldn’t have done that.”
“No, I’m gonna mind my business,” he said laughing.
