Taylor Swift may be riding quite the wave of late with her ‘Lover’ album campaign and more, but the praise isn’t ubiquitous.
Because, despite her ‘CATS’ cut ‘Beautiful Ghosts’ nabbing a nomination for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, it has been notably left off the shortlist for the upcoming Oscars.

As reported, the likes of Beyonce (with ‘Spirit’) and Cynthia Erivo (‘Stand Up’) made the cut of songs in contention for nomination at the 92nd Academy Awards.
And while many thought Swift may have been a strong contender for the competition, it’s now apparent she won’t feature at all.

While a blow, Swift has a packed plate of activity in the coming months, including the launch of her ‘Lover Fest’ tour and her freshly announced headlining slot at Glastonbury.
