New Video: Missy Elliott – ‘Why I Still Love You’ [Co-Starring Monica]

Published: Thursday 16th Jan 2020 by Sam

Missy Elliott is keeping the ‘ICONOLOGY’ EP party going with the video for ‘Why I Still Love You.’

Directed by Derek Blanks and co-starring Monica, the clip sees music’s most notable envelope pusher journey through the decades – with performance serving as her vehicle.

Watch Missy’s latest offering after the jump…

Simple, yet effective.

Loving Missy’s commitment to the project.

Here’s hoping that new album arrives soon.

I like it. But wonder why Missy is doing all of these videos for an EP? Why didn’t she just make it an album? Love you, Missy

Deserving of being called THE G.O.A.T.!!! Missy ain’t never went nowhere… even when you thought she was gone she was behind the scenes creating Dope music. A queen who definitely knows how to survive thru Generations… Just a testament to her genius and talent

this was cute. I love the concept of the museum but Idk for someone who is a music video trailblazer, I expected more from Missy – the rewind concept been done by a lot of artists.

I’m glad she put Monica on though and Lil Nas X granpda in 1971 looks super fine ha

I don’t like the EP or even this video, but speaking of Missy, what happened to Barry releasing Aaliyah’s work with Missy and her entire catalog to streaming services? That was supposed to happen today.
