Bruno Mars is heading to the big screen and he’s so in partnership with Disney!
Full story below…
Moments ago, it was revealed via Deadline that the multi-Platinum chanteur had officially signed on to star-in and produce a music-driven theatrical film for the media giant.
Interestingly, tea about the plot is being kept in the pot. But the as yet untitled flick is said to be a major priority for Disney – who’ve enjoyed colossal success in recent years with titles such as ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Black Panther.’ As reported, they’ve also just announced a film incarnation of wildly successful play ‘Hamilton.’
News of Mars’ deal – which is said to have been several months in the making – comes almost four years after the release his colossal ’24k Magic’ album. A project which spawned smashes (including chart-topper ‘That’s What I Like’) and a multi-year world tour.
This is super exciting.
Bruno is three for three with his albums and stays releasing a hit. So, we’re all sorts of intrigued to see and hear what he’s cooking up for this project.
