Published: Tuesday 25th Feb 2020 by Sam

Check out Ciara!

The R&B superstar shines in a colorful new shoot for Fault Magazine.

Lensed by Irvin Rivera, the vibrant spread sees the pregnant singer strike many a pose.

Inside, her interview made for an engaging read too.

Peep pics and quotes below…

On How She’d Describe This Era Of Her Career:

“This era of my career is all about spreading love and inspiration. I am so fortunate to have been given this platform and I want it to stand for something in the long-run. I kicked off this era by Leveling Up! I starting my own record label, Beauty Marks Entertainment, and now own my masters after 15 years in the business. I want to be an inspiration to other young people out there to follow their dreams and never give up. Fans can expect more music and even more dancing!”

On Being Told By Artists She Inspired Them:

“Because I remember looking up to artists like Michel Jackson, Janet Jackson and Missy Elliott growing up, I take great pride and responsibility in being that kind of inspiration to my fans. It’s the best feeling in the world to know you’ve really had a positive impact on people’s lives. It makes me feel accomplished that I am able to give younger artists the feeling the people I looked up to gave me.”

On Whether She Feels Pressure To Slow Down, Now She Has Children & One On The Way:

“No, I don’t. I LOVE being a mom and I am a better mom when my kids get to experience me doing what I love on and off the stage. I am a better person because of them and I feel like I have more fire under me to go after all that I want. It is important for me to show them that you have to work hard to get all you want out of life.”

Reflecting On Certain Traits:

“I can come across guarded at times which I think stems from being a military brat and moving around so much. I would often have to leave friendships as they were just developing. That gave me a defence mechanism that can seem reserved. Since marrying the love of my life I have really been able to let my guard down and feel safe being vulnerable. I can also be a bit OCD about things!”

    • Johny5 February 26, 2020

Platinum singles and 100 million + certified videos are flops? Hmmm

  3. I love big black c** February 25, 2020

Still trying… C-error never will be janet unless she exposed her n-I-p-p-l-e-s on super bowl bet she never get the offer

  4. Gee February 25, 2020

Musically Ciara has managed to get a platinum single these last couple of eras but other than that all her eras are shortlived. I say that to say people like a song or two and then they move on. I feel she should release an EP opposed to a full length album.

      @Gee – Good advice.

This is some of the flyest editorial hair styling, I’ve seen in awhile. Work CiCi! ?

  6. Cûûmila Cebolla February 25, 2020

    The more important question is:

Who wants to listen to that?

  7. Only Facts February 25, 2020

Please. No. We don’t need more music Ciara. I thought “Jackie” was a low as you could go, but “beauty marks” took the cake. Please stop. I know you’re having fun and playing around with Russell’s money, but you’re ruining your legacy. Unless you’re going to give us another goodies, or ride, or body party. We do NOT want pop music from you Ciara. You are the princess of crunk&b remember? You are NOT a pop star. Write it over and over until you understand it.

  8. Only Facts February 25, 2020

And what artists other than Tinashe has Ciara inspired? I’m genuinely confused and not throwing shade

  9. Fanciest BISH February 25, 2020

Ok Cici , she looks beautiful and I will always admire her strength to keep serving music to her cpuntable fans. As embarrasing as it is , Glad she keeps going… So many of your flop faves should take notes.

Ciara is the epitome of how to make the best career with your flop ass. She’s basically famous for being a flop.

  11. YAS BIH February 26, 2020

Came through with the Slayage as usual “all about spreading love and inspiration” as she has always been about positivity and never tried sh**in on the next forever gave props and respect to many all to only get disrespect thrown in her face what she has never deserved, But the ignorant broke dust mites in the comment section will never understand that anyway bring on the music Ci I as well as your REAL fans are here for it and ready for it, for others NOBODY is forcing you to listen to it if you don’t want to hear it go tf about ya biz and move tf outta the way of her real fans who do want her music.

  13. Suxmycockiness ? February 26, 2020

A total f****** slay! ? Love those cornrows!

  14. High Price February 26, 2020

(Sigh) I honestly don’t even get excited anymore about Ciara’s music anymore. Smh. IDC. I’ll still be checking out of curiosity. As an OG fan of hers, she doesn’t make music I like anymore. Her last best album to me was her self-titled album with the singles “Body party” & “I’m out”. That whole album was solid and still is….Everything else after that is a scattered mess. Smh.
